One benefit of the troubling current state of American politics is the impetus to get involved by running for office. As a result, we have several primaries for national, state, and local offices. Democratic primaries will take place on June 23rd, with early voting available June 13-21. Here is a link to early voting hours and locations in Allegany County.

US Congress 23rd District: Aaron Gies; Kevin Stocker
State Comptroller: Thomas DiNapoli; Drew Warshaw; Raj Goyle
Cuba Town Council: Lance Tronetti; Jonathan Enzinna
Both Cuba Democrats successfully petitioned for a single open seat on the Cuba Town Council, so they’ll face off in the primary. Lance has also petitioned for the Lance for Council line, and Jonathan collected signatures to gain the Republican line, so the two will also be seeking your vote in November.
