New York election law authorizes nine days of early voting prior to each general election. This year, early voting starts on Saturday, October 24 and runs through Sunday, November 1. Early voting dates, hours and locations are posted below. Please note that the Belmont location for early voting has changed to the Belmont Fire Department. Also note that the opening times may differ from day to day and at each of the two early voting sites. The general election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, and all of the county’s election districts will have polling sites open from 6 am to 9 pm.

The Allegany County Democratic Committee encourages all voters to make your plan to vote early, to insure nothing gets in the way of your vote on election day. Don’t let sickness, bad weather or anything else prevent you from voting this year!

This year’s ballot is TWO PAGES.  You can review the ballot for your election district, and find lots of other useful information on voting, at the website of the Allegany County Board of Elections:  https://www.alleganyco.gov/departments/board-of-elections/
