Aaron’s town halls are in-person and free and open to the public, unlike our incumbent Representative Nick Langworthy, who speaks to private audiences in undisclosed locations, effectively hiding himself from Allegany County voters.

At each town hall, Aaron will deliver a “State of the District” address and then take questions from voters. Aaron believes in true representative government that starts with elected officials who have the courage to meet with their constituents and share their plans and hear directly from voters about their concerns. According to Aaron, “Residents of NY-23 deserve a representative that is transparent, accountable, and present. Private meetings behind closed doors and screened telephone town halls are quite frankly unacceptable. The state of the district is measured by the lives of its people. All of them.”

Aaron’s town halls have so far been met with packed houses of voters who are frustrated with the status quo and who want to return to representative government that they can trust to work in their best interests. These voters want a representative in Washington who isn’t afraid to face voters and be accountable for their votes and actions. Let’s have Allegany County voters make a big showing to demonstrate our support for Aaron, and tell Nick Langworthy that his private meetings, screened “telephone town halls”, and votes against his constituents and for the MAGA agenda are not needed for this district.

On August 31, more than 60 people attended his Town Hall at Cuba Circulating Library.

Aaron’s upcoming town hall meetings in Allegany County include:

· Alfred, NY: Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Alfred Village Hall (7 West University Street).

· Caneadea, NY: Monday, October 5, 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Caneadea Town Hall (8911 State Route 19).

· Wellsville, NY: Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Nancy Howe Auditorium (155 North Main Street).

More information on Aaron’s town hall meetings in Allegany County and across the sprawling NY-23rd District can be found on Aaron’s campaign website: https://aaronforny23.com/#events

Voters are encouraged to make a plan to attend one or more of Aaron’s town hall meetings and to check the website often as more events are being scheduled across the district.

NOTE: It is the DUTY of every Aaron supporter to deliver at least one unaffiliated voter to a town hall. Democrats are going to vote — and vote for Aaron. He needs YOUR help to get him in front of new people. It is another way you can support this superlative candidate. So… will you? Can Aaron count on you?

Allegany County Democrats, our friends and supporters, and interested voters, have three upcoming opportunities to meet and hear directly from Aaron Gies, our Democratic Party and Working Families Party candidate […]

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false

1

post-1541","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
