Aaron Gies Town Hall – Wellsville
David A. Howe Library– Nancy Howe Auditorium (155 North Main Street)., 6 PM
Aaron Gies, Congressional Candidate for the NY-23 district—covering Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Chemung, and Tioga Counties and parts of Schuyler, Steuben, Erie, and Niagara Counties—is holding a town hall meeting in Wellsville. These free events are open to everyone as part of the campaign’s tour of 100 in-person town hall meetings across the 23rd congressional district.
At each town hall, questions will be taken from the audience following a short statement by the candidate. Aaron believes in true representative government that starts with elected officials who are dedicated enough to meet with their constituents to share their plans and hear directly from voters about their concerns. According to Aaron, “Residents of NY-23 deserve a representative that is transparent, accountable, and present. Private meetings behind closed doors and screened telephone town halls are quite frankly unacceptable. The state of the district is measured by the lives of its people. All of them.”
More information on Aaron’s town hall meetings across the sprawling NY-23rd District can be found on Aaron’s campaign website: https://aaronforny23.com/#events
Voters are encouraged to make a plan to attend one or more of Aaron’s town hall meetings and to check the website often as more events are being scheduled across the district.
NOTE: It is the DUTY of every Aaron supporter to deliver at least one uncommitted voter to a town hall. Democrats are going to vote — and vote for Aaron. He needs YOUR help to get new people into his audience. It is another way you can support this superlative candidate. Over the past year and a half, he’s given SO MUCH of his time, his energy, his everything to campaign to represent us in Congress. Can Aaron count on you, now?
