Call for Artists! Artists for Aaron Gies: A Silent Auction
Artists for Aaron Gies: A Silent Auction
Artists across WNY and the Southern Tier are invited to support free speech, community, and the common good by donating to a fundraiser at a community town hall for Aaron Gies for Congress. Until now, politics has never played a role in many of our lives, but now we are all feeling the seismic shift in our rights and freedoms. Aaron Gies represents the common good: healthy communities and leadership without fear, intimidation, or corruption. Together, participating artists can transform a grassroots political fundraiser into an engaging celebration of the arts and the people who make our community vibrant.
Goals of the Event:
- To showcase the extraordinary talents of artists in our community.
- Help local artists to reach new audiences.
- Highlight the importance of art in supporting a diverse and innovative Democracy.
- Support civic engagement by bringing people together in conversation around common values.
- Raise money to help Aaron Gies unseat the current MAGA congressman representing a NY district that directly impacts Buffalo, Lake Erie, WNY, and the Southern Tier.
